DESIGN IS OUR PASSION - PEOPLE ARE OUR PURPOSE
- Bri Peacock, Owner of Ora Designs
"At the end of the day, it's not about what you have or even what you've accomplished. It's about who you've lifted up, who you've made better. It's about what you've given back."

Ora Designs has a lot of passion for giving back and lifting people up. We admire & care for all people, so we strive to do anything and everything we can to bring good things to those around us. Our owner, Bri, developed a deep passion for giving early on in childhood, and has always tried to come up with creative ways to help others. She actually decided on our company name because "Ora" was a special word with christian roots from the Hebrew language that she loves. God has always been important to her, one of her favorite things to say is "Anything good that comes from me, came from him first".
The first charity she created was at her former business, Posh Peacock, a high fashion clothing boutique for women. Bri launched the "Posh Princess Program". She put a box in the front of her store with a sign inviting people to write down names and info of women or children who may be going through a hard time, that could use a little something special. Every other Friday Bri would pull a name from the box. Then get busy filling bags with brand new clothes, jewelry, shoes, toys, diapers, and gift cards. Once she closed for the day she'd load it all up then show up on their doorstep to make them feel important, loved, and special. Even if only for a few moments.

When Bri decided to close Posh Peacock, that also meant no more Posh Princess Program. A couple years later when she got Ora up and running it didn't take long for her to brainstorm new ways to give back to the community. She partnered with her Husbands company, Hansen Restoration to create the "Pay It Forward Program". A program created to recognize and encourage the kindness of others.
The way it works is simple, people message Ora Designs to nominate someone from our community who's exceptionally kind, happy, helpful, or all of the above. You know, one of those people that's always making everyones day better just by being themselves. The thought behind this is to encourage kindness, caring, and love throughout our community. She wanted to recognize the special people of Medina who make this city such a great place to live and work. So every couple of weeks, she stops by somewhere to make someones day a little better, just like they do for everyone around them. Be on the lookout in the future for Bri bringing interior design to Cleveland along with community togetherness and positivity!
If you have any nominee's for our "Pay it Forward Program" we invite you to fill out our contact form and share their info with us. Thank you!

In July 2018, Ora partnered with Hansen Restoration again and launched its biggest giveaway yet. A "Dream Bedroom Giveaway". Bri posted a video on Ora Designs Facebook page asking the community to nominate and vote for a child who deserved the room of their dreams. At the end of the contest a little girl named Hailey had received over 500 votes. After learning that Hailey suffers from what is commonly known as brittle bone disease, Bri and her husband Dev (of Hansen Restoration) decided that they wanted to go all out, and fully custom on this bedroom. From custom hand made bunk beds that would allow Hailey to crawl to the top, to a fully built in gaming wall, the design plans for this room are really special.
In November 2018 we decided to join forces with Hansen Restoration to do a Christmas tree giveaway. We turned to our social media and asked the community to nominate and vote for a local family who would receive a Christmas tree, with all the trimmings, fully set up by our team. With an overwhelming number of nominations pouring in, the community chose the Nemet family of Brunswick. One of their children was battling cancer and people really felt that this sweet family could use a little bit of extra Holiday cheer. We were honored to be welcomed into their home to give them a Christmas tree to enjoy, keep, and cherish for years to come. We plan to make this an annual tradition!
